The Perth Royal Show is coming up, and that means the Perth National Photography Competition entries are just about to close. Each year more than 1500 entries are received over the size categories available.
This year things are a little different, the organisers have decided to go digital. That means for those of you who don’t have time to get your work printed you can submit right away!
The prize pool looks like this
- 1st: $300
- 2nd: $150
- 3rd: $100
- Most Successful Exhibitor Overall: $500
- Peoples’ Choice Award: $250
- Best Print: APS Silver Plaque
- Best Youth: APS Herbert Medallion
- Most Successful WA Exhibitor (sponsored by WAPF): $250
The size competition categories are:
- Youth
- Open Colour Prints
- Nature Prints
- Australian Rural Life Prints
- Creative / Altered Reality Prints
- Open Monochrome Prints
The competition is open to all Australian Photographer even if you live overseas, and as usual a selection of the prints are on display during the Perth Royal Show in the Photography Pavilion.
